Come and join us
We meet on the first Tuesday of the month at 8pm.
Please note, we meet at the coffee bar on the ground floor, situated at the back of the Central Methodist church
This local Scope branch was founded in 1961 and over the years has helped many families in the local area.
Our group is made up entirely of volunteers.
The group is particularly advantageous for families and new parents who have a newly diagnosed child.
Money is raised through charitable donations and in-store collections at local shopping outlets.
Although originally our group catered for people with cerebral palsy only, in recent years we have opened up the group to include other people with physical disabilities.
New members will be made very welcome.
Registered as a charity under the Charities Act 1960 Charity Number 221702
Affiliated to Burnley, Pendle and Rossendale CVS
We are not affiliated to the National Scope. However, some of us are individual members of National Scope.
